I haven't been on here in a long time. I need to get my blog updated. For myself, friends and family members.
We have done alot this past year. I have learned alot about myself. What I have learned is that it doesn't matter where you live, if you aren't happy there then you don't belong there. The saying " Home is where the heart is" is so true. We moved from South Carolina to Panama City Beach, Fl. 11 months ago for a great job oppertunity for Clark. We left behind our house, family members, friends, to move to an unknown place where we don't know anyone. Don't get me wrong my husbands' job is a very good job but if the family is not happy then you have to make a choice. We decided that our life is back in South Carolina. My husband got another job in South Carolina. We are moving back in about 4 weeks. I am so excited.
Dylans' homeschooling has been going good. He knows most of the states, He is doing great in adding and subtracting. He loves his cooking and science lessons. The one area that I am alittle concerned in is reading. He reads to me everyday. I also read to him as well everyday. I don't think he is up to grade level yet in reading. I think we are going to put him back at Northwoods Acadamy next year. He misses being around other children all day. I know now that I can do homeschooling later on down the road if my children need it. I will do that with no hesitation if anything goes wrong in school.
Gabriel is great. He is now 19 months old. He says about 20 words, is ready to learn potty training ( I can't believe it, it seems like yesterday he was born). Right before halloween Gabriel had a low fever, so I gave him some medicine and tried to put him down for a nap, as soon as I tried to put him down, he started to have a seizure. It lasted 2 minutes. I called the police while it was happening and he walked me through what to do. That was the scariest thing I have ever been through. We took him to the hospital and they said it was due to a fever. He got the fever from an ear infection. So now I carry medicine wherever it goes. The doctor said he has about a 40% chance of having another one. Wow things can go from good to horrible in a matter of seconds. So please keep your eyes on your children and see if there is any changes in them, it can keep them healthy.
I am doing good. When we move back I decided that I really want to work with animals. I have thought about being a vet. tech. or an animal photographer. I think I am leaning more towards the animal photography. I love photography. I would have to go back to school and take classes, which I am fine with.
Sorry that this is a long post it is just that I had to write about everything that has been happening in the last few months. I will try to post more often. Bye for now. Leah
